All she had to do was place the letter somewhere he would find it, like Gabriel’s office or in a box and pretend she didn’t know it was ever there. Or she could’ve just told cat noir or Rena rouge what happened she could’ve helped break the news, or because Adrian is cat noir he would’ve found out on his own. Alya is right, she shouldn’t be controlling what he does and doesn’t know just because she doesn’t wanna hurt him. It’s better than lying because if he finds out she knew the truth their relationship is over. I feel like Gabriel told her not to tell him to protect their relationship. He left the letter so he could tell Adrian himself without Marinette getting involved.
