Marinette genuinely pissed me off with this one, I thought she'd finally have some growth this season but no, she's still the same immature and dumb girl from the past seasons 🙄

For a relationship I'd been rooting for for longer than I can remember, Adrien and Marinette are pretty bland together. I can't exactly explain it, but, like, everything that was interesting about their characters and dynamic seems to have died out. Oh, well. I actually really like the new animation, but I wish they could've retained the old designs.

Never attribute to malice what can be adequately explained by stupidity. On an unrelated note, wouldn't it be hilarious if it turned out the new villain actually wasn't Lila Rossi (or whoever she is), but that that flash of light from the end of Season 5 was actually someone else taking the Buttefly Miraculous for themself?
