If monarch got his wish I guess this new animation is a result of that because to make a wish you need to destroy the old world and rebuild a new one. I guess that's why the animators changed the animation as a result of the wish. This is only my opinion but the old one looked cool.

agree! in previous seasons it always felt like marinette was more and more acting & talking like ladybug. maybe her character is different because the universe restarted
