I think in this episode Marinette is trying to hard to be the perfect Girlfriend for Adrien by trying to copy the exact example of her best friend Alya and of her boyfriend Nino of what it's normally like to be boyfriend and girlfriend and I think she just struggling with a lot of things like being their for Adrien and by being by his side after losing his father I think that why it's easier for Lila to be able to manipulate Marinette that way as a super villain knowing her weakness and not as ladybug when she transformed making it harder to read her mind not knowing her true identity yet and i think Marinette the one that needs Adrien more than he needs her for emotional support to keep her stable because at this point Marinette unstable having so much to deal with and the fact that she can't tell Adrien her boyfriend that his own father Gabriel Agreste was a super villain himself that sacrificed himself in the end to go and be with his wife since she was already gone also with all that stuff going on for Marinette lately it's be hard to balance the two between being a girl with a normal life and wonderful friends and family and a great boyfriend and being a superhero to fighting off the super villains that keep on showing up each time and each time they do they are stronger and smarter to than ever so she going up against a lot of things all at once

I love how Marinette's dating knowledge js wipes away when she dates Adrien.....I mean, it's THE adrien so ig that's fair
